CYBERTY: Cybersecurity and activity recognition as enabling technologies for the smart factory
The main objective of CYBERTY is the design, development, and evaluation in a realistic smart factory scenario of an autonomous framework that allows: (1) monitoring, identifying, and mitigating cyber threats in real-time; (2) recognition of human activity for the characterization of industrial processes; and (3) security controls to protect the framework itself. In particular, this project proposes to integrate cybersecurity and activity recognition in an edge computing architecture that leverages new technologies such as machine learning and deep learning, Internet of Things, computer vision, and containerization, among others.
